Star Dreamer

Description

I painted Star Dreamer during a 3 week long painting seminar in the mountains in northern Italy in the summer of 2015. It was a fantastic retreat taught by my dear friends! The new techniques I learned there have drastically changed my approach going forward.

   She again represents the exploration of what has become a central theme in my work; the contemplation of consciousness, being, and the nebulous origins all of the elements that make us up, and indeed the whole of matter in the universe. I love the idea that we are the mud that stood up to ponder it’s own existence. We are the universe examining itself.
