Indonesia, Thailand, & Singapore This shot was at the very end on Ko Tao, Thailand Saturday night!. The arms go up and everything goes down. Striking city. Sharp and dramatic. & damn cold in December Beautiful pond in a huge park. There were statues on everything Then it was off to Bali. Stayed with Mike and Mizu. There is the little sister and her wife at KAOS ca. My home away from home And the Machine (from Seattle) Saw Jason Webley there nearly too drunk to play! Sunrise at Mount Bromo. Twin smoking volcanos. Unreal! The Prado was incredible. And you can take pictures Berlin Tattoo Convention 2005. It was cold and crazy Burningman 2003. The Temple Burn The Chandelier. We partied until the roof came in. Art in Architecture Everywhere. Delicate and beautiful These two get around each other and everything gets out of hand! The Dragon. Breathed huge fire and one of those cars is a bar. It was really cool, large place. Shane, Danny Boy, Yushi, and Peg Crazy roads on Ko Phangan. By then I was about done taking pictures. TAXI. It's not really taking your life in your hands... You put it in theirs. Outhouse. Out of order. The lighting was amazing.... I LOVE big insects!... though this is not an insect. Bug, perhaps... I suppose. Oh yeah... a little something from the convention. Path to the mountain village. A step back in time, though they did get motorbikes up there. Then they went back to normal Burningman 2003. The Man Table pool with bottle caps before going out. Big group of crazy people roaming Berlin= fun. There were scores of giant fruit bats. At night they were EVERYWHERE!!! Yay! It was a long drive in an overpacked, abused rental Another man down. And the night is just beginning 1400 year old 'Watt'. Budah lives inside Monkey Temple on the southern peninsula. It was absolutely breathtaking! Absinthe. Yay First things... got strange And some great friends. These two are the best... and all kinds o' stylin! Ko Chang. A beautiful place to be The falls were near and it was totally tranquil. A beautiful place to take a dip Rice patties and water buffalo. Very cool tiny path through fields, a village, and a river Huge city square. Hundreds of thousands died here during the inquisition ...In their palace! There was a maid and a gardener. And before you know it, the lights aren't all just in your head anymore. Amsterdam 2005. Shared a flat with many people from everywhere Yeah.... Some nights are just like that. Burningman 2005. My 4th time to the playa This is in the ancient capitol of Sukotai. The seated Buddha statue inside is 35 meters, knee to knee The Fallen Angel. Very cool statue of Lucifer But we were quickly settled in and right at home ** Not actually true. 2 days in heavy winds building camp After, It was a long damn night... missed the afterparty Before pic with sketch. It was a long night Madrid 2005 Convention. Ben and I tore shit up. Why, yes, that's Satan The Penis. Couldn't be helped Monkey Temple, Ubud. They are really into their monkeys. 30 Meter Golden Buddha. I wonder if Buddha is impressed? You would think it would be warm at a tropical volcano... You would be wrong. There were of course tiny, tiny things too. The Man. Gettin ready to meet his fate When tattooists attack! There were about 5 of us Then off to Thailand. The cliffs at Rei Lei/ Ton Sai beach But it was very worth it... We had a great camp! The Singapore Zoo was amazing. And the baboons were INSANE!! We rocked out for a bit. Then I went to Java. This cathedral/museum was partially destroyed during WWII. It has an incredible arched ceiling and beautiful sculptures. Covered in intricate carvings. Describing the 10 stages of enlightenment. Then I set off... Around Bali in 6 days. Ben and the lizard. Its a tale of romance and heartbreak BAWRAA-ZUOO-LLYAGGG!!! You have now been cursed. Send money to have it lifted. Have a nice day. Then I met Joss and Ricky. Ricky is now my roomie in Barcelona. Trouble comes in Fives Neptune and company. It's all fun and games... Until you see him drive! At the top lives Buddha. He has an incredible view! Borobudur Temple. Outside of Yogyakarta. Gargantuan and unbelievable. The base of the statue Shared a booth/traveled with Coyote on that one. That man got head and tail everywhere! Sushi with the guys. I got to meet some really incredible tattooists The Similan Islands, nature preserve. The most untouched place I've seen in Thailand. Little India, Singapore. It was easily my favorite part of the city Unexpected visitors. He beamed up to the mothership briefly... booty call.

A little late on the updates… In Barcelona and this town rocks! It’s beautiful and artful. The life and energy are amazing! I already love it.

Two weeks in Thailand (Koh Samui) now. I have a pleasant little mountainside house with an amazing view of the ocean. I’ve found my way in with a local studio where I’m learning oil painting (1st one is posted) and spending most of my time.

Mid December I’m off to Thailand. Our winter is their very lovely dry season; hot and beautiful! The intent is to be there until about April, then off to Barcelona.
